A Christmas Photoshoot

Gear I used: Sony A7ii, Samyang 35 2.8, LED Jinbei EF60, 2.5m aluminum light stand.
So the other day on my way back home from work, I noticed the guys at VPBank Tower had put on Xmas decorations for their beloved building. Being inspired by Jason Lanier's videos about photoshoots with LED (you guys really should check out his videos and channel, even though I doubt that you've never heard of him), I decided quickly that I'll do a quick photoshoot with the building as the background, you know, with lots of bokehs (?!).
My wife agreed with me unconditionally, which is nice, since she is also my model and makeup artist (links to her Facebook profile and some showcases of her work are below).
We got there pretty late (at about 9.30pm), and it was lucky for us since all the office windows were closed, which means the lighting decoration patterns would not be interrupted by black holes. We got to a crossing bridge for pedestrians (seriously Idk the word for that), and quickly I realized the distance was too long to be able to cover the whole pictures' backgrounds with bokeh.

The light on the road was pretty low, but it's ok since I could use my LED Jinbei EF60 as the main source. No softbox was used that day so you can see the light is pretty harsh on the model. However, I found the high contrast and hard light kind of interesting, since they provided my pictures a "Western"/ modern/ fashion(?!) look, not the kind of dreamy/ cute feeling on my other normal work for Vietnamese customers (most of them are students, and they kinda prefer "Korean colors" and plastic skin look). And yes, I used the Samyang 35 2.8 instead of my beloved Batis 85 1.8, which was also a fresh feeling.

And of course, my beloved wife - model - makeup artist:
